The reactable is a multi-user electro-acoustic music instrument with a tabletop tangible user interface. At least, that is what is written in Reactable web page.
The instrument, which some sounds make me remember Theremin and some others Arcade video Games, has a futuristic look and works by moving some geometric objects on the table surface.
Developed for the Catalan University of Pompeu Fabra by a team of digital luthiers under the direction of Dr. Sergi Jordà, intends to be collaborative, intuitive and to design new music instruments, amongst other ideas.
